The
 American director Gus Van Sant came close to taking over the rerun of 
the famous Japanese series "Death Note" again, but this time on the 
screen of the cinema completely new, the nomination came after the hope 
of using director Shine Black director of Iron Man 3 after the latter 
announced his concern to take out the next part of Movie Predator.
The
 original series revolves around a high school student named Light who 
has been able to find a notebook that gives everyone who holds the 
ability to kill anyone who wants to write the name of that person in the
 pages of that notebook, decides that intelligent student exploit this 
unique diary in the elimination of criminals and corrupt and transform 
the world To a better place full of good, but the consequences of this matter 
begins to appear when an investigator to search in secret in order to 
seek to know the cause of those events illogical.
The
 series has been coded in many graphic and realistic works since 2006, 
beginning with a Japanese cartoon series followed by a graphic 
television film before Japanese director Hideo Nakata embodies the story
 in a Japanese film called Death Note: L Change the World. Before Warner Bros. came and decided to turn the series into a US version.
Gus Van Sant presented many outstanding works as producer and 
director. The most famous of these were Good Will Hunting 1997, Sean 
Penn's political film Milk, and Van Sant in both films for the Academy 
Award for Best Director.
